Nonlifts in S14(K(8))−
There are two old forms in
S14(K(8))−
coming from the two nonlift eigenforms in
S14(K(4))+.
Additionally, there is an old form in S14K(16) that must come from
S14(K(8))− by a process of elimination. (See the
paper for full details.)
This proves S14(K(8))− has at least three dimension.
This specialized argument is used because there are no Borcherds products in
S14(K(8))−.
